2-Year Old Class
Smart Start’s youngest classroom is our toddler room which is made up of 8 to 10 two-year-old students who are guided by a teacher and an assistant teacher. The classroom provides a sense of warmth and familiarity to each child. The small classroom setting and low student to teacher ratio assures each child receives individualized attention while they explore the world and people around them.
The DOE is updating it's site daily. Please continue to check the website frequently for Smart Start. Application code: KBPY20
3-K

Smart Start's three- year-old classrooms consists of 15 children in each classroom with a teacher and an assistant teacher. The 3’s begin their preschool journey; a journey that is filled with play-based learning because we know that children learn best through play. What does that look like? Children are active learners so they learn through hands on experiences; they learn by doing, exploring, creating, moving, and interacting with others.

Pre-K for All

Smart Start's four-year-old classrooms are guided by a teacher and assistant teacher with an enrollment of either 15 or 18 students. The inquisitive fours want to know more about the world they live in, so we explore such topics as communities, family, light, water, plants, transportation and more! Smart Start's positive learning environment encourages children to try new things, take risks, asks questions and have fun.
